The My Tanzania Roadshow 2026 continued successfully on its second day in Copenhagen, Denmark, bringing together tourism stakeholders from Tanzania and Denmark to strengthen tourism partnerships and promote Destination Tanzania.
The event was officially launched by the Honorary Consul of the United Republic of Tanzania in Denmark, Mr. Simon C. Mears, who welcomed participants and highlighted the strong tourism and investment opportunities that Tanzania offers.
In his remarks, he encouraged international partners to invest in Tanzania, emphasizing the country’s peace, stability, and the humble, friendly, and polite nature of its people.
More than 50 tourism agents from Denmark met with tour operators from Tanzania in productive networking and business-to-business (B2B) meetings, aimed at expanding tourism cooperation and attracting more visitors to Tanzania.
Key tourism institutions including the Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB), Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA), and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) actively participated in the event, showcasing Tanzania’s world-class wildlife destinations, spectacular safari experiences, and diverse tourism attractions.
Participants also highlighted Tanzania’s beautiful coastal destinations, including the “Spice Island” of Zanzibar, famous for its white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and rich cultural heritage.
The My Tanzania Roadshow continues to strengthen Tanzania’s presence in the European travel market while creating new opportunities to promote the country’s remarkable natural beauty from iconic national parks and wildlife safaris to the relaxing tropical beaches of Zanzibar, the Spice Island.
