At the close of this year’s exhibition, Team Tanzania held a special meeting with H.E. Ambassador Hassan Iddi Mwamweta at the Tanzania Embassy in Germany, where he congratulated the delegation for their strong and united representation at the world’s leading travel trade show.
The Ambassador commended the leadership of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism and its key institutions including Tanzania Tourist Board, Tanzania National Parks, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, National Museum of Tanzania, together with other tourism stakeholders for their commitment to promoting Destination Tanzania on the global stage.
With over 70 Tanzanian tour companies and more than 169 delegates, Tanzania’s presence at ITB Berlin 2026 demonstrated unity, confidence, and a shared vision to showcase the country as The Complete African Experience—from world-class wildlife conservation and breathtaking landscapes to rich culture and sustainable tourism opportunities
