A total of 140 youth and young women from disadvantaged families have completed their final entrepreneurship training through the Youth Agency Mufindi (YAM) Project. This brings the total number of beneficiaries to 420 who have benefited from the YAM Project since its inception in 2021 until now in 2024 in three wards: Ihanu, Mdabulo, and Luhunga in Mufindi district, Iringa region.
The beneficiaries have commended the YAM Project for providing them with the opportunity to receive these training, which they believe will help them change their current way of life and start engaging in economic projects.
Project Manager Sanford Mkumbo noted that since the inception of the project four years ago, there have been significant successes for the youth who have received training, with many experiencing positive changes in their lives compared to before they were given the opportunity for training.
